Northern Foods is committed to the highest standards of corporate governance throughout the Group, and seeks to remain at the forefront of corporate governance best practice.
The Board has overall responsibility for corporate governance and is accountable to the Company’s shareholders for good governance. The directors recognise the importance of this responsibility and can confirm that the Company has complied fully throughout the year with the provisions set out in Section 1 of the 2006 Combined Code on Corporate Governance (the ‘Combined Code’) and the associated Turnbull Guidance, as annexed to the Financial Services Authority’s Listing Rules.
